My wife and I stayed here as we drove from Virginia to Texas, as Nashville made a good stopping point for us.
Our price for this hotel was incredibly low, and I was very nervous given the reviews I had read. We chose the hotel because of the location, the price, and because they allow pets.
I found the hotel to be quite nice, given the previous reviews. It is in a safe area, near many other hotels and lots of little businesses. We had no problems walking our dogs around the large grassy areas and no problems finding food that evening. It is very quiet, and they gave us a room separated from others so our dogs wouldn't be able to hear people walking up the stairs.
The room was clean, although quite small. The kitchen was nice, as we ordered Chinese takeout and were pleased to find clean dishes. There was no dish soap, however, so that was a little strange.
Overall I found this hotel to be quite nice for the price, in a safe area, and perfect for a quick stopover if you have pets aboard. They do charge $25 pet fee, which is kind of absurd, but when paying $40 for a hotel room, its not too bad.
