We arrived an hour early and were pleasantly greeted by Dieter who showed us around, we were then shortly taken to where we were going to be staying for a few nights, it was lovely to arrive to a well secluded, peaceful place, we had booked a self contained unit and were very happy with this, bed was very comfortable and warm, considering we were expecting some cold nights, the weather was just unbelievable ... we had packed winter clothes only to find the days were hitting the 20 degree marks ... the weather and surroundings of all the little towns made our stay just that much better, Thank you to Dieter and Karan, a walk around the property was very refreshing, I wish I was still there now, Yackandandah is such a cute little town, Beechworth was just as nice also, hope to return soon

We stayed in this B & B for one night on our way back to Melbourne from our holiday in Canberra. We had a bit of trouble finding it as the address is the Wodonga - Yackandandah Rd but the location is actually on the Beechworth side of town. This B & B is a little out of town (about 5 min drive) but is immaculate as far as the rooms are concerned and the garden is beautiful (unfortunately the weather was bad so we couldn't enjoy it fully). The room we had was a bit cramped but was fitted out extremely well with beautiful antique furniture etc. It was more like a self contained apartment than a B & B. The owners were very helpful & no doubt very proud of there business.

we instantly found this place to be homeaway from home. The owners were very polite and pleasant.The views from our room was serene and inviting.the room was fresh.highly presentable & clean.
the gardens was what i viewed on internet.gorgeous truly a surprise.Several times in the past i was disappointed when comparing each .
we loved the location.

The view from the Secret garden room was outstanding. this B&b is located pretty close to Yackandandah.we visited previously 2 years prior. it was nice that the owners remembered usa walk to town for lunch was most enjoyable. Excellent conditions of the cottage and rooms looked new. Beds very comfortable & warm. very pretty garden
