Both Ruth & her husband Trevor made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was rustic, it went with the age of the winery & the situations that has happened in the last 10 years (namely drought). The location is what you make of it....l myself enjoyed the early morning cuppa with Trevor then out to milk the cow or just a walk around the garden...on the other hand my husband enjoyed the later part of the day just sitting in the kitchen with Ruth while she bottled home grown fruit for jam. It is best to get there in day light as it can be a bit trickey if you don't know the area in the dark.
