“A true, full service B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

Di and Richard were the perfect hosts. A tour on entry, tips for local eateries and a driveway send-off! Nothing was too much trouble.

The property was spotless, comfortable and homely with a delightfully manicured, fully fenced garden. It had an amazing collection of reading material and an an equally extensive tea collection to suit.

We chose Roseneath for it's location and dog friendliness. Zoomi, our whippet, had a ball with the resident Jack Russell, Maddie. There is some great dog beaches nearby and many cafes cater for pooches.

Highlight of the stay was the comprehensive breakfast. A first class fruit salad packed with berries, melon balls and tropical fruits, was topped with fresh flowers and dusted with icing sugar. The traditional oats were delicious and warming was a big spoonful of honey. It was hard to fit in the toasts, croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice and yoghurt. Phew...

“Fantastic girls weekend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

A friend and I caught up in Point Lonsdale for the weekend to spend some time together on a girls weekend. Richard and Di looked after us like Princesses! The accommodation was wonderful and Di's fruit salad more than met up to the high expectations we had before arriving! The gardens are lovely - a testament to Di's hard work, and it was nice to have a furry belly to scratch in the mornings. Thank you for a fantastic weekend, we will definitely be back. We may even let the boys come next time!

“relaxing and refreshing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 March 2011

My recent stay at Roseneath Villa began with a wonderful welcome from Richard and Diane. The B and B is most inviting, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and spacious. This space was mine alone as only one set of guests is accommodated at each booking. Richard and Diane were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and the breakfasts, well the breakfasts were heavenly! My need for rest and relaxation was fulfilled and after four days I was ready to face the world once more. I might add my little well behaved dog had the run of a private garden. I intend to return to Roseneath Villa again this year. MS, Edithvale. Vic

“Don't mind the clutter, just enjoy.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 February 2011

We did not ask nor look for anything, it was already there.
Loads of different teas and coffee to try.
Richard was the perfect host always ensuring you have your needs, but staying out of sight.
The little dog Maddie was a treat, but a lush for having her tummy rubbed.

“Best B & B of the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2011

Roseneath was a fantastic B & B, beautifully appointed with everything you could need and a truly wonderful breakfast (you'll never get a better fruit salad). Richard and Diana were so helpful and genuinely friendly. If I ever get back to OZ this is the first place I would book. I slept well, ate well and had a remarkable time there. It is perfect for exploring the Great Ocean Road and seeing the Koala's down there.
