“Expensive, Old and Noisy”

I had read previous reviews, but the pictures on their website looked as if it had been refurbished. Well we certainly didn't get one of those rooms! It was dark, worn and decidedly not the bright clean room you see on the website. In the evening, the passing trains woke us up about 5 times throughout the night. The restaurant & room service weren't available because the chef was off.

On the bright side, the staff were lovely and the pool was great on a hot day.

I wouldn't normally spend this much for a motel, but had decided after a long drive the pool, room service and refurbished would make it worth it. Sadly everything but the pool was disappointing.

“Needs renovating”

It was ok for a night's sleep. But that's all. There's so many things broken, dirty or just harsh on the eye, to mention. For the rate they charge, it's a rip off. The whole place needs a huge makeover, but I guess for a small country town, the hotel chain don't want to waste money.

“Happy stay”

After a long drive we were happy to find a place with a pool for the kids. We got a family room which was a bit old but very clean had room service and was very happy.
