You really do pay a premium just for the location.
The hotel - well it's old. Walking down the hallways, the carpets are stained, the walls have scratches and torn corners. The rooms are in good need of a makeover.
Our fan in the bathroom was filthy.. it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for 6 moths. The mirror in our bathroom had not been well cleaned with stains on it.
The pool - nice! good location, great view. The spa was filthy but, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a week
The staff? Wasn't that impressive. Didn't even get a "how was your stay" at the end of it.
Unforuunatly, I can't recommend this hotel. You really just pay for the position - it's in a great spot. The staff were not that friendly, the rooms were fairly dated and needed cleaning.
