Hotel is well located for the Northern Beaches, bus stop not far from hotel. Rooms are basic but nice kitchenette. Cleanliness and house keeping was below expectation (and trespassing), the communal laundry was just disgusting and the one washer often occupied by the staff. Outside sitting area quite badly littered. Internet 20 dollars per 24 hours (no long term rates).

Short drive or bus from Manly cheaper and while it is only 31/2 stars it is clean and is all you need for short stays and best time to book is on their own website on tuesdays. Also they have great deals during the football season that includes grandstand seats and take time for a short walk to the Brookvale Hotel bistro out the back or the Trattoria Il Segreto Italian restaurant which is not cheap but absolutely top quality and BYO wine.

We chose the Travelodge as we only wanted somewhere to sleep and shower and most of Manly's hotels are ridiculously overpriced ! Our expectations were not very high, but we were pleasantly surprised :) Fast, friendly check -in, clean and bright room with a very comfy king sized bed - no complaints at all. A bargain at $125 a night. We will be back for sure.

Booked in through website which promised NRMA discount and "bonus gift". Apprentice on the front desk did not know of either of these and refused to honour the promise. When checking out at 9.25am the next morning I asked the receptionist about they offers and said I could have one breakfast for $1.00, but they closed in 5 minutes. She said "they might have some food left"

Rooms clean and location was good . Just need to train their front staff a little better.
