“Always good quality”

We have been staying at this hotel periodically since 2003. It's presentation is consistently of a high standard. The rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed and the bathrooms are large. Staff are always professional. It is definitely the best hotel in the area.

Parking is free, albeit outdoors and unsecured. There is a pool on-site, but this is not the sort of place you would go to specifically for the pool. The hotel is located within the Norwest business park, in the north-western suburbs of Sydney, and is easily accessible from the M7 and M2 toll roads. There is a local shopping centre within walking distance down the road (containing a supermarket, pharmacy, newsagent, food court, restaurants etc). There is nothing spectacular about the location and the hotel grounds are neat but un-extraordinary, however it is ideal for business and leisure within the local area. The location is definitely too far out for tourists seeking a central Sydney hotel. It would be an ideal base, however, for visiting Koala Park at Pennant Hills and exploring as far out as the Windsor area.

We will definitely be back again when the opportunity arises.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road. Rooms facing the road are very quiet, but the view is pretty unex...

Hello Ellebana,

Wow thank you for your great honest review, you obviously spend a bit of time here describing the hotel like a member of the staff including the local ammenities.

The Business Park has changed alot over those years hasn't it. Very well facilitiated and well maintained Corporate business park with plenty of restaurants and local recreational activities.

Thanks for the continued support of the hotel, look forward to you returning in the future.

Kind Regards,
Ben

“Very average with no special highlight”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I was disappointed with the hotel. Usually I stay closer to the city in an IHG hotel for around the same price or less, so I my expectations were for something more, when in fact, apart from the free parking, it had nothing more to recommend it. For a hotel of its class, it has the basic set of attributes and amenities. That said, it was clean, comfortable and secure. The restaurant was reasonable with friendly staff but service was variable. I imagine that it would be convenient for business travellers working in the area.

Hello rivor,

Our apologies for not having more of a wow factor during your stay at the hotel.

We are continually looking to improve the guest experience in the hotel and your review allows us to work on service and features of the hotel. Off comments like yours at the hotel we have introduced monthly cuisine specials such as Italian nights and Korean BBQ opportunities for dinner.

We often stay at this hotel when we are in Sydney for work. The hotel is modern and well placed for the Norwest Business Park. The rooms are well appointed and are usually quiet. the restaurant is nice with the usual fare on offer. Parking is free.

“Spacious and well appointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

I travelled solo to Sydney and really enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza Norwest.
It is really well located, close to shop, a few minutes walk, (boutique shops, Coles. McDonalds, Gourmet Pizza, Service station etc).
The rooms are really well appointed, very spacious, really modern and nicely decorated. You could dance in the bathroom - its that big.
The reception and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful without been pretentious while still maintaing a very proffessional approach.
The pool out the front is rectangular which is great for laps and has black lines, also great for just a dip. Towels provided poolside.
The parking is very well lit and plentiful.
I would stay here again happily.

Room Tip: Any room should be great. Worth a mention that the drapes are so good I was really able to sleep in...

Hello SimBrisbane,

Thank you for the praise you have given to the hotel, as you stated the business park has a great infrastructure and it's only a short walk to key services should you not wish to spend all of your time at the hotel. Great to hear that our staff are warm and friendly and we look forward to being able to accommodate you again in the future.

All the best for 2012.

“Excellent staff and hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We were greated at platinum members on arrivak and upgraded to a better room complimentary, we had a bookig for 20 plus in the restaurant and every single one of our guests thought the food and service was excellent. Close to shops, pubs, bottle shops and supermarkets if you are travelling with kids and dont want to pay mini bar prices in room, very spacious and clean rooms with fully stocked amenities. Morning paper was outside our door and requests for ice were dealt with quickly, room service was good quality, fast and affordable, surprisely good actually.
We will definitely be staying here when visiting family and do day trips into town as the room rates are half that of counterparts in town with much bigger rooms and much better service.
Thankyou for an excellent stay.

Room Tip: Ask for room that does not have a view of the main road
