I stayed here for three nights last week, when my usual hotel in North Sydney was booked out. I was very surprised by the quality of the rooms, they are nicely renovated and a good size, the bathroom was very functional and the room includes a fridge and a microwave and a suplly of plates, knives & forks etc. Foxtel is limited to two Fox Sports Channels and Skynews, so when they advertise limited stations they really mean it, and they don't receive the free to air digital channels.
The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well and the rooms have opening windows, which I love. The hotel has free parking and the location is close to Artarmon railway station and buses along the Pacific Highway route. The hotel offered a shuttle to North Sydney at 7.15am each morning which was perfect for me getting to the office. To get back to the hotel I caught the train to Artarmon and it was about a 10 minute walk.
I have to gripe about the wifi fee of $18.00 per day, as hotels in Australia have to stop this rip-off.
I paid $115.00 per night for the room which I thought was great value, however I wouldn't pay the $310.00 shown on their website as the full rate. However they seem to heavily discount, for example next week has rates at $135.00.
I was a bit worried about the noise from the highway, as all the rooms face the Pacific Highway, however I was on level 3 (311) and I wasn't bothered by the noise even with the window left open. I suspect that maybe if you were on levels 1 or 2 you may hear more noise.
If you are looking for a really comfortable room, with free parking on the lower North Shore I would recommend this hotel highly, as long as you get a reasonable rate.
