Casa Obelisco, a B&B in San Pancho, is the perfect place to spend time close to the water's edge. The owners, John and Judy are not only welcoming, but make the most delicious breakfasts you'll ever eat. The B&B is nestled in a small fishing village that offers a unique and relaxing Mexican experience. The rooms are spacious and provide a most pleasant ambiance. The bottom of the pool is tiled in the shape of a hibiscus (in Spanish: obelisco) and the rooftop provides a view of the pool and unforgettable sunsets. We loved our time in the casa and were happily busy in the surrounding area. If you travel to Mexico don't miss this perfect little gem.

We are back at the best vacation place ever! Sitting on our deck, overlooking the pool, listening to the waves.... This is what relaxation is meant to be. Gentle breeze, warm sun, great breakfast. The only stress is deciding which of San Pancho's great restaurants will be our dinner destination. But first, we'll walk the beach to town, walk back, jump in the pool, have a poolside Margarita and quesadilla prepared by Evie, read and take a nap. Then we'll survive the "stress" of deciding on where to have dinner. Ahhhhh....

We stayed at Casa Obelisco for 5 days and it was perfect. The owner and host, Bill aka Memo, made us feel welcome from the time we made the reservation to the last day. Great drinks and homemade chips and salsa at the pool bar. Comfortable spacious rooms.

San Pancho is a perfect destination with terrific restaurants, golf and water sports.
Forget Punta Mita..
