“Bargain hotel!”

We stayed at Travelodge for one night on 27 December. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. The hotel was basic like all Travelodges but as we paid £12 per room that was exactly what we expected. The rooms were clean and the service was friendly. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere but fortunately there is a Harvester next door so we were easily able to get dinner in a child friendly restaurant. If you want luxury then travelodge isn't for you. It is good value for money. No complaints from us!

“not as good as normal”

Having stayed at this hotel 3/4 occasions this time was worst. On arrival when I went to my room the bathroom floor was still dirty from the previous guests. In general the room was the worst I have ever stayed in in that hotel. One of the members of our party was disabled with a valid blue badge, and every night when we returned to the hotel we found a car was always in the disabled space with no badge. When we mentioned it passing one of the receptionists in the hotel turned round and said it was her car and she had parked there so nobody else could, this is not acceptable as we had to park at the other side of the car park and walking is a problem for the lady in question.

“a different travelodge!”

we have just paid and stayed at this travelodge for £15 what a bargain!! its a really nice hotel ,you wouldnt think that you were staying in a travelodge beacuse its in the middle of nowhere! kind of in the countryside the rooms are the typical travelodge rooms and are clean, with nice staff, its got a very nice little harvester right next door to it my only complaint about this hotel if i were to nit pick is its very well hidden its right out of the way so if you are going to book a stay here make sure you get directions. we have booked another stop off stay in december for £15.

Room Tip: if you want a bigger room book a family room

“Cheap and wonderfully cheerful”

We stayed for one night for £35 for a family room. We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist who was friendly and keen to provide anything we required.

The room was clean and perfectly adequate. There were tea and coffee making and television and a king sized bed. We had to make the sofa bed up for the children but this was easy to do. The bathroom was fine. Simple and clean it had a small bath and was spacious (nicer than some of the more expensive hotels that we've paid a lot more for in Cardiff.)

This is a budget hotel. There is a pub next door and we went to a local supermarket for some breakfast.

We had a good nights sleep. Check out was quick and again friendly.

For the money I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel......”

Stayed at this hotel for one night whilst attending a nearby function.... I was late booking but still paid less than £40, great value!

I was allocated a spacious room on the first floor, it was very clean and the double bed was comfortable. As I was facing the rear of the hotel I had a great nights sleep as it was so peaceful!

The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Prior to booking I read the reviews on this property and wasn’t looking forward to my night there, but it turns out to be one of the best properties I have stayed in recently (and this week I have spent 6 nights in 6 different hotels!) The negative reviews of this hotel date back a good few years so I’m inclined to think things must have changed for the better
