Ocean Haze is very much "family run", and we couldn't have received friendlier welcome or more thoughtful service. Cristina also gave us great recommendations for the best places to eat evening meals.
"Ocean Haze", is actually a rather modest name-the room we stayed in had a fantastic sea view that made us go "wow," as we walked in...and a balcony from which to enjoy it.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. If I had to be ultra-picky, some fresh sealant around the bath wouldn't go amiss, but that's not anything that would have disrupted our stay. The room was also very quiet and peaceful.
Yes, the B&B is next to a petrol station (also owned and run by the family) but as we discovered, in rural west Wales, this is a good thing-we would never have found paracetemol anywhere other than the petrol station shop by 8pm at night!
Breakfast was lovely, with a good veggie option, impossibly fluffy scrambled eggs and the chance for my meat-eating husband to swap black pudding for what he assures me were delicious sausages.
All in all, we would definitely stay here again, perhaps even if our real focus was to be another town in the area. A great place for a relaxing break!
