“Great starting point for walkers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We stayed in The Stables which was the only detached accommodation, a two minute walk down to the cliff top walk, part of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. A well appointed cottage with an uncomfortably soft looking bed, which although soft was not uncomfortable. As it is an organic farm you do have to make an adjustment for the organic smell(at times). If you don't like the smell of cows and all that entails, this may not be for you. That said, just toughen up because it's a great place to kick back and relax or, walk your legs off if you choose. The Tourist information place five minutes up the lane towards St.Davids(also 5 minutes walk) is an excellent resource.

“Lovely family campsite with stunning views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We have been for the last 3 summers and had a lovely break each time. The views are amazing and its worth a visit for the views alone. The site is next to the coastal path and a short steep walk down to caerfai bay . The campsite isnt crowded even in August because the owners leave big spaces in the middle of the fields so children can play. The toilets and showers are fine and not too overcrowded because there is a family bathroom. The water is heated by solar energy and the campsite is ecofriendly .There can be queues to wash the pots but plenty of hot water. The camp shop does lovely croissants in the morning !

“Stunning location, lovely cottage.”

We stayed at one of the farm's self-catering cottages. It was our second time there and a real wrench to leave it and return to the busy city. The beauty of the spot, the views, the silence, the coziness of the cottage, so beautifully appointed and just right for the two of us. There are also family-sized cottages, but our little one-bedroom place feels like a home from home. We used it as a base for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, using the walkers' buses to connect locations.

“Outstanding Camp Site with Stunning Views and Excellent Facilities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

Best campsite we have ever been to. Our pitches overlooked Caerfai bay's dramatic coastline. Very generous pitches which are allocated by owner. Our pitches were on a slope which we soon got use to. The pitches near the coast path do need anchoring down well in windy weather but the wind is not always onshore spookily

There is one toilet and shower block at the top of the site which was excellent. Hot water heated by solar panels and wind turbine with oil-fired back-up. Generous amount of showers and toilets. Even when the site was full at the end of the week there was still hot water and showers were always available. The whole site is immaculately maintained, the grass is regularly cut and the toilet rolls never ran out. The soap dispenser did for a few days but that was a minor inconvenience especially as most campsites have no soap at all. A brilliant and inspired thing that this site has is two family washrooms with shower, toilet, and basin. In the evening these rooms were often free and the use of a private toilet was great.

Shop is very well stocked with local produce and tempting bakery goods. Ice blocks £1 deposit and 20p per frozen block - 4 per pitch. Shame the hours are so limited but perhaps there is a rule on campsite shop hours. 9-11 and 4-6. If there isn't then I think they are missing a money spinning trick as many people use this road to the coast as well as the campers.

A map of the pitches on the door of the shop would be really handy for new arrivers especially when they are on foot.

The site is a short walk to St Davids and is actually next to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

A truely stunning site that we thoroughly recommend.

“Superb location, quiet and peaceful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2011

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights in our VW campervan and it was perfect for us. A rare eco friendly site with beautiful views. We arrived on a Monday and the site was quiet and peaceful. From the Friday it started getting busier with children but there's plenty of room for them to play in the centre of the fields. Beware if camping in a tent, the winds can be vicious!!
