We have just spent a lovely week at Ramsey House. Suzanne and Shaun are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are wonderful and I recommend everyone to have dinner at least once, as Shaun's a fabulous chef. The goat's cheese souffle is sublime! The rooms are stunning and very comfortable. The guest house is also within easy walking distance of St David's only pub and it's main square, from which you're very near to a few but very good shops, cafes and restaurants. I'm sure we will be back.

We pulled in around 4:00PM without reservations and extremely tired after driving from Cardiff, and were warmly greeted by Shaun and Suzanne. We knew immediately that this was a great place with great hosts, which was confirmed once we were shown a room. I needed some medication and Suzanne immediately gave us all the right information to obtain it the next day.
I only regret that our guide book did not suggest that we should eat at their restaurant, because the next day we had their breakfast and it was outstanding ! so if you go there, and you should, make sure that you let them know you will have dinner there. Shaun made the most amazing breakfast and we met other guests who were return guests. The house is beautiful and the rooms/bathrooms are so pretty - they did not miss a thing ! great value, great food and great hosts. We plan to return to beautiful Wales and look forward to enjoying their great hospitality.

Booked this for a four night stay at the end of the season.
Location is excellent - just on the edge of the city, but easily walkable back into the main street for restaurants etc. So - very quiet, little through traffic other than local (there is the odd tractor or service lorry for the local farms though)
Sean & Suzanne are excellent hosts; nothing is too much trouble. The whole place has a good atmosphere & is clean, tidy & very well presented. They are also very knowledgable about the locality & willingly give advice on where to eat/visit & what's going on.
Our room had the sea view (yes, its a little way across the fields but a sea view nonethless) & was immaculately presented.
The breakfast are great - really well cooked & everything fresh.
TIP: eat in for dinner, at least once; Sean is an excellent chef & the dinner might look a little pricey but is more than worth the money. We tried other local places (Cwtch for example) & the food here is way better (you have to give them advance warning the night before though so a little planning is required)
This IS an excellent place to stay; this is perhaps why most of the other reviews are so positive. We would certainly plan in to stop here again if/when re-visiting the area.

This 5 star Bed and Breakfast Hotel ticked all the boxes, immaculate rooms, plenty of hot water, excellent breakfasts cooked by Shaun and first class evening meals if ordered in advance. We spent most of our time walking and were nearly blown away in the gales, so it was wonderful to know we were returning to such a comfortable and well appointed base in which to relax and unwind.
