We were instantly relaxed and our feeling of well being just grew throughout our four night stay. Thank you Kila for a wonderful start to our holiday.

We chose Amber cottage based on price and location (close to St David's). Kila, the owner and host, was very friendly in our email exchange when we made to booking and was even nice in real life. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful host. On arrival, she explained how everything worked and made sure we felt at home.
The house is quite small but our double bedroom was beautiful and quite large. We had to share a bathroom but this did not create any problems and the bathroom itself had everything you could possibly need. The breakfasts were to die for -- lots of choice and really fresh local food.
We also liked the location a lot -- the house is a short (10-minute) walk into St. Davids and this allowed us to leave the car behind when we went into town. The town and the whole area are dielightful -- very unspoilt and (in July) very few crowds. We would definitely stay there again

Amber Cottage is the perfect B and B. Comfortable, clean, homely, well located and a fantastic host. And possibly the best breakfasts you will have. If you can get a room, stay there!

I had such a lovely stay at Amber Cottage. It's only 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and village centre, in a very quiet spot near the little harbour of Porth Clais. Kila is such a friendly host and the house is beautiful - both inside and in the fabulous little garden, with views to Carn Llidi and fine sunsets. So nice also for single travellers to get around the breakfast table and chat to the other guests - and what great breakfasts too, a full fry-up and homebaked bread! No need for lunch! Kila is converting Amber Cottage to mostly whole-house self-catering, so if you want a truly home-from-home B&B experience, book quickly!
