“Save your money.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2010

We booked a night here thinking it would be a comfortable and luxurious night given the price and the 4 star b&b claim.
This is not the case sadly! The rooms are very small and sparse, the sound proofing is poor, so you can hear conversations and snoring all night. The TV did not work, and the room, having been recently painted but not aired enough, had such strong paint fumes I had to sleep on the floor in the bathroom to get away from them. This then mingled with the sewage smell that came from the toilet when the hot tap was turned on.
The host and hostess were pleasant enough - and the breakfast was very nice - but this is very over priced for what you get.

“The bells”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2009

We stayed in the clockhouse B&B, a beautiful location , tastefully presented lovely rooms However, the bells rang out from 06.00hrs to 22.00 hrs inclusive. It was poorly soundproofed, children are accepted but not catered for, no Childrens menu except for lunchtime. The male host is very welcoming and friendly but the hostess is rude and overbearing.

“Best place to stay on Pembrokeshire Coastal Path”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2009

The Clock House at Marloes is one of those special places you find by accident and it restores your faith in British food and hotels. I stayed there as one of 11 blokes walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and having stayed at some shall I say dodgy establishments over the previous few days, the owners of The Clock House couldn't have made us feel more welcome and couldn't have done more for us. The food was fresh and exceptionally good (especially the dressed crab) and the rooms were simple and lovely, in fact far too good for us dirty, sweaty blokes. Also we didn't have to have a greasy fry up for breakfast, I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

And another thing the local pub has changed hands and was great!! We stayed there till midnight.

“Great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2009

I stayed at the Clock House in Marloes with a friend for a walking break and would highlt recommend it. We had a great lunch of fresh local fish and returned after a beautiful walk for a very nice dinner. not much to do in the area after dark - local pub was pretty charmless, but the hotel was a clean, friendly and chraming place to stay.
