The caring and attentive hosts ensured that my husband, son and I had a most enjoyable three night stay at Plas Efenechtyd with their warmest of welcomes and lovely home-made breakfasts in a homely setting.. Everything was spick and span and a good night's sleep was assured.

Beautiful house tucked away in the lanes near Ruthin. Warm welcome and excellent breakfast from David and Marilyn. And they even sent on some stuff I had left behind! Highly recommended

A delightful bed and breakfast, hidden away in a narrow country lane with hedges as high as any in Devon. We arrived in the dark on a cold November evening but were warmed by the welcome from David and Marilyn and spent a pleasant half hour with them at the dining room table over a cup of tea. They are so easy to get on with that you immediately feel you know them from somewhere! The room was very well appointed, comfortable bed, good towels and toiletries. Breakfast is perfect, muesli,cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, excellent quality full English, fresh eggs from the chickens. Just one night , but a great experience, we will be back and we will stay longer, not just for the hospitality but for the lovely area.

We stayed there for three nights at the end of September. This was our first trip to Wales and I highly recommend this excellent B&B and a trip to the area. The breakfast is very good and what a treat to meet the lovely hens that provided the eggs. The rooms are beautiful. This was our first stop in our vacation and I was able to drive from London Heathrow and still navigate the country lane. We had warm sunny weather and took advantage of eating dinner in the garden one night. Oh and the stars!! at night, it was amazing. The beauty of being close to town and yet enjoying the solitude of the country makes this a great choice. Dave and Marilyn gave us great advice about the area, provided us with maps and checked schedules for us. It was a memorable visit to Wales. I want to add a note that at first I almost did not book the B&B because I am allergic to cats and Dave and Marilyn have a cat which you will see on their website, but it was never a problem.
