We stayed at the hotel in the off season on the 28th of December. We arrived at around 1600 all lights were off, we rang the buzzer and a young man let us in and showed us the room, the room as well as the hotel was cold and unwelcoming. We payed 70 pounds for the night. The radiator in the room was terrible it never heated up more than 5-10 degrees in a room that started at about 40 degrees, and the radiator shut off sometime in the night. We complained about it to the young man, and he only said we could get another room that was smaller with less windows. We turned the other rooms heater on went out to dinner and when we came back both rooms were no more than 50-55 degrees. We needed to catch an early train so options to stay were limited, and as another post indicated they had no toiletries except for towels and the room was pretty outdated for 70 pounds. We spent three days in Wales and paid less for far better accommodations with excellent customer service and hospitality. This story will just be one of those funny stories you tell friends about places not to stay in Wales and about the great and not so great places you stay while on vacation.
