A basic, but comfortable hotel.
The room we had was small, but neat and tidy, all we needed really.
The owner was very pleasant and the breakfasts more than adequate.
The hotel is ideally situated for Rhyll, Llandudno, Conwy, etc. with plenty of parking.
We will definitely return.

this was lovely, friendly, clean, nice food, nothing was too much trouble, stayed at short notice due to an ill family member so we came down late, but nothing was too much for them , i have read the bad reviews on here and its nothing like this, were very fussy, so i wouldnt rate it high if i was unhappy

This hotel had sheets and covers and towels which were cheap and old - we use better ones as drop sheets when painting our house! I was glad I didn't need to wash my hair while staying there because there was only a trickle coming from the shower. When I complained to the owner of the hotel that the central heating wasn't working in my room he informed me that it was only in use if the temperature dropped below 10 degrees! We didn't have that problem anywhere else in the UK and Ireland over the 5 weeks we toured no matter what the temperature was.

my freind and myself have stayed here two weekends it was awful, very scruffy and drab, as for the furniture, i`ve thrown better on the tip, the bedsare so lumpy with naff bedding, pillows and towels, creased curtains ripped when i opened them etc,i could go on forever, the `staff` (of only 3) were unkempt and not freindly, the whole hotel smelt like i lived in bedsit above a greasy chippy yuk, it has menu with lunch, evening meals etc but when we asked for lunch we were told they dont do it as there`s no staff! on the only plus side, the breakfast was nice although the plates are far to hot, too hot to touch. on the whole, it awful place although looks nice on the outside, we stayed twice only because its the only `hotel` in Old Colwyn but we wont be going again.
