“Weekend trip”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 May 2012

Windows have no locks open fully like a door..not ideal family room. Had a rough sleep due to worry of this and noise. Breakfast was not great which was a shame after reading reviews we were looking forward to it. Car park was really tight. Staff were great and friendly

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experiance at Tree Tops. When booking a hotel or guest house make sure that you read the discriptions carefuly as it does state on the website that we are situated on the A474 ( hence the noise factor) as for the windows these are tilt and turn and if the handle is turned horizontaly then it opens like a door, turn the handle virticaly then it opens for vetalition only, as for breakfast all of my guest are asked if everything is allright for them just after they have been served breakfast if you were not happy then you only have to say If I am not told then I am unable to address any of your problems.

My time at Treet Tops is always a highly enjoyable time. The accommodation is both comfortable and friendly and the breakfasts are second to none. I have spent many nights there over 22 years and have returned when visiting this beautiful part of the UK on business and pleasure. This Guesthouse is ideally situated as a perfect base from which to go exploring the surrounding countryside. A warm welcome is always assured and I look forward to my next visit.

“Only Complaint - The Bed Was Too Comfortable!”

My first trip to South Wales (researching my family tree/roots). I chose this guest house as it was in the perfect location for where I needed to be.

The welcome was warm and friendly and I felt at home straight away. I had the smallest room (as I had booked a single) and despite it's size it had everything I needed (new en suite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, TV, alarm clock and WiFi).

Almost missed breakfast because the bed was so comfortable that I did not wake up till late. Pleased I caught breakfast though because it was absolutely gorgeous. Well cooked, very tasty (the tastiest mushrooms I have ever eaten).

In addition to this the owner and staff are very nive, helpful and pleasant.

This place is just what a B&B should be and I cant wait to stay here again, hopefully, in the not too distant future.

“"Next best thing to home"”

Jan is extremely friendly without being intrusive and nothing is too much trouble or effort. I regularly stay in B & B accommodation and as a solo traveller this can be difficult. However, I feel comfortable and relaxed at Tree Tops and always receive a warm welcome from Jan.

I have spent three separate weeks at Tree Tops and have stayed in the single and the double rooms. All rooms are ensuite which are spacious and all fitted with modern fixtures and fittings. The beds are so comfortable I often struggle to get up at the right time each morning. The breakfast, however, is too good to miss and will suit most people's dietary needs.

There is off road parking which is an added bonus.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tree Tops to anyone. It is certainly value for money.
