Two weeks before Christmas I experience being rob and did not have any money to pay for hotel accommodation: I immediately call the Red Roof Inn Memphis East and spoke to the front desk clerk (Della) who advise me that the manager Chris will call me back: Chris called me back immediately to offer me accommodation there at Red Roof until the next day when I could have money wired to me. He also offered me his own personal money to get me something to eat. Now If this is not service then I don't know what is. I could not write this review without including the from desk hostess Theresa Filinnger she is awesome: she always have a great smile, call guest by their name, and most of all she is the one who keep guest coming back to the Red Roof Inn.

Recently, I rented several rooms for a business trip, I was more than impressed with all of the service that I received from the houskeepers to the young lady who checked all my rooms in by the name of Krystal Berry. I carry around a large crew of people with me & checking in is not always the easiest thing to do Krystal made it very simple and she was extremely helpful. We stayed about three weeks and on a daily basis, another front desk clerk by the name of Theresa not only solved any and all problems that we had but also bent over backwards to make sure our stay was plesant and delightful. Going the extra mile is what she does naturally and all of our team appreciated it. Unfortunatley one of my workers was a bad apple & out of spite choose to write a bad review about Theresa. This is why i felt i had to set the record straight on her behalf. The job didn't work out for Chris he left his room an atrocious mess! There were cig butts all over beer bottles and trash pilled all over the place & because he was charged a clean up fee is why he chose to say such negative things. Either way the property is amazing, a steal for the price , and has someof the best staff working at it.

Don't get it confused, I'm not going to vacation here. It was, however, a decent place to stay for one night. I checked in late and the staff at the front desk (who had to buzz me in) had my information and reservation ready to go. Grabbed the key and crossed the parking lot to my room. King bed, standard items, but plenty of room. It was very old but clean for the most part. The AC/Heat was either REAL hot or REAL cold. No middle ground there. I actually had to walk back to the front desk for shampoo and soap only to discover that they wrap it up in the bath mat on the tub. Wonder if anyone else has done the same thing? Didn't realize that at the time.

It's good that you can walk to the Cracker Barrel which is right next door and parking is free with plenty of room. I'd ask for a room on the back side of the building near cracker barrel because the noise continues through the night from the main parking lot.

Served the purpose for sure and that's all I was looking for.
