The staff on check in are about the most friendly we have ever encountered, a definite asset to the hotel. The location isn't great but certainly not a problem as there is a fantastic shuttle service that you can call and the driver will collect you from anywhere in Memphis.

We stayed here in September 2011. Firstly, this is a very welcoming hotel. Angel and her staff are very friendly and courteous and could not have been more helpful. Upon arrival we were given a map of Memphis and recommendations on where to eat and places to see while on our visit.

The room was great, the location was convenient, and the staff was very accommodating.
Lovely people, ideal location, extremely good value, rates include a fine upscale breakfast served with a personal touch. What more could you want?

Overall, a Lovely stay. We’ll definitely make this our headquarters on future visits to Memphis.

The experience my family had at this motel was a nightmare! My family was verbally assaulted and our lives safety was threatened by the night "manager" at the hotel. This occurred all because the placed is locked after 10 p like a jailhouse. The night manager was very abusived when I asked if can open the door for my family member forcing us to leave. This experience was very freighting to myself and my four old daughter who was traumatized. Before this happened I was already thinking of leave because there is no safety screens and no fire floor plans visible and no posting about night door policy and the blood stains floors and mattresses. But with the help of the memphis police dept. The female owner refunded my money and reassured us that the hotel was in a bad area of Memphis so that is why the door was locked at all the exits and not opened by anyone at night and that Memphis is the 2nd largest in america with the highest murder rate. This incident is surely contrary to hotel website that states"secured indoor hallways with easy access" GREAT FIRST TIME VISIT TO MEMPHIS TN

This 'dump' is 13 miles from the centre of Memphis and is in a dodgy area. Our room was dirty and the bed linen on one of the beds was soiled, the chair seats were too dirty to sit on .The plugs for the bath and basin were missing and the t.v. did not work either. We stayed for 3nights and were out all of the time,on the Sunday no housekeeping done and on the Monday no breakfast at all available at 8am.In fact the whole place was grimy and 'sticky'. If you are a plane spotter you might enjoy the low flying air craft landing at the nearby air port! We have travelled all over the U.S.A.and have stayed in very good motels at reasonal prices-this one was the exception!!

Although we did not pay much for this hotel it was not very clean,the carpets were all stained and you kept finding hairs all over the room,also the breackfast was a waffle and coffee if you were lucky
