Short cab ride to Beale Street. A few fast food type restaurants close by. Hotel was nice and clean. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. There was security onsite in the evening. The breakfast was not much to talk about. There was no hot water in the hotel during the two nights we stayed. It appears the hotel is not equipped to handle a sellout.

This location was easy to find and convenient to many different Memphis attractions. It was close to Beale Street, yet far enough away to be quiet. The hotel was very clean, attractive, and well maintained. Amenities included a full hot breakfast, wireless internet, fitness center, and free parking. Overall, very satisfied. We would definitely stay there again the next time we're in Memphis.

Great location. Walking distance to the Trolley to go into Downtown/Beale. Far enough away to be quiet at night. Older property but very well maintained.

As for the neighbourhood its clean and quiet by Memphis standards. I don't know where in Memphis is less sketchy, but I can think of lots of places that are more sketchy!

It appears to be an older hotel/motel that was made over into a Holiday Inn Express sometime in the last decade. It has all the features of a typical Holiday Inn Express and is well maintained. There is plenty of free parking on site. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even down to helping direct us to a restaurant downtown. It's very convenient to I-440 and the medical center. It's about a 5 minute drive into downtown as well as into the Victorian historic district. For us it was a perfect choice for our Memphis visit. We were extremely glad we didn't choose to stay right downtown on Beale Street due to parking issues and noise from the drunken party people. We would definitely stay again.
