on arrival the toilet overflowed, we immediatly run to the office and reported it.
the owner immediatly picked up his water sucking vacuum, plunger and a handful of towels, ( which just so happened to at hand , so it must obviosly happen all of the time!). he fixed the toilet and cleaned the water up.
on anther day, after a days outing we came back to the hotel to relax beside the pool only to be disturbed while swimming in the pool by the hotel owner his son and his children , who came to the pool at five pm TO CLEAN THE POOL!! We were in the pool at the time!
we go out of tyhe pool while they vacuumed it!! the pool should be cleaned when it is closed.
the hotel is about 12 mile outside of down town memphis situated directly on the highway which is a main trucking route,a truck park is directly oppersite the hotel.
there is a restaurant joined onto the hotel was open on a evening but we never seen anybody eating there.hotel clean was and the owner very polite and friendly.
not many places to eat within walking distance just take aways, arbys subways and wendys ect.

Good place to stay - originally was to stay at Super 8 in Memphis near Arkansas state line - That motel was unacceptable - my friend refused to even stay there - so we phoned the first Best Western in town we could find and it was Travlers Inn Best Western.

Person there was decent - rooms very clean - TV works okay - decent nothing great selection of channels - refrigerator and Microwave in the room worked well - Pool was okay not great - Breakfast was too continental - Furnishings were fine -

Only negatives - no hot tub in pool area which is not so bad - NO safe in the room to lock valuables - Restaurant does not serve breakfast - Overall I would give this place a B plus.

When arrived, had doubts because did not look like much, kinda out of way. But we were quickly surprised. When opened door to room, we found a very clean immaculate room. The price was right on--not expensive at all. Paid about $65 a night on a Saturday. At night, lot was very well lit. had no security concerns. Felt very safe in this large town. No walking traffic. In industrial headquarters/airport/shipping/warehouse area. Very neat and clean area, busy but not at all noisy. Bed was most comfortable have ever slept in at any hotel or motel. Travel world wide. Could not believe it. Don't know if memory foam or what but will never forget it. Wife and I both still comment on it--"hope this hotel has a bed as good as the one at that Best Western". Did not stay for breakfast, was there to shoot nieces wedding. Got up early and moved on. Staff was pleasant. I would stay again if in Olive Branch area. Worth the money for a good price. want a Michelin star hotel? Stay at one. Want a good deal and security and comfort--stay here.

friendly staff good rooms but middle of nowhere, not recommended for tourist wanting to see grace land and Beale street. Clean and cheep with big beds. Right next to a highway trucking passage.. .. .. so good for truckies
