Stayed here two nights for the Liberty Bowl Game between Cincinnati and Vanderbilt. The Hotel was the team hotel for Cincinnati. As a result, the hotel closed the Executive lounge (I am a Gold HHonors member) and made it the team HQ but they gave me two breakfast tickets and free wifi for both days as a substitute.
Room was on the 16th floor and I heard no noise or other disturbances either evening even though Cincinnati won and it was New Year's Eve to boot. Room was very comfortable and the sleeping was excellent. The Hotel is a round Building with the core being the entrance to the room. As a Result, the exterior wall is completely glass with a good curtain for privacy.
As i had forgotten my shaving kit, a call to Guest Services resulted in two kits of shaving goods and toothbrushes with toothpaste. The Guest Services staff was excellent, following up to make sure I got the kits.
Met a lot of Cincinnati and Vanderbilt fans in the Lobby Bar area and everyone from both sides were extremely nice and I had lots of good conversations. I even went up to the Executive Lounge and was invited in for a drink and talked to some of the Cincinnati Coaches. Nice gesture by the team.
The Hotel is on the West side of Memphis so it takes a bit of a drive to Beale Street, Downtown and the Stadium but since it was a good rate, not a big deal. I would stay there again.
Room Tip: If you want avoid the Sun, get a north side room.
