Am currently in the room as I write this.
First time here and thought things were going well with the checkin.
Found the tile floor areas were not clean.
The coffee pot had an old coffee packet that had molded and the carafe had coffee residue.
The front desk offered to clean the floor and replace the coffee maker but I told them I would clean the floor myself if they would bring a mop and I would clean the the coffee maker myself.
Cleaned the coffee maker but so far no mop at the door.
Room had musty smell.
I will never stay here again in the future.

Walking into the lobby felt like I was entering a comfortably appointed and homey B&B. The person at the desk introduced himself as Drew and ask "How may I help you." First impressions are key when stepping into a new environment. He was swift, courteous and professional as were all of the staff during my stay. They clearly had been trained very well. The room was perfect for my needs and seemed to clean itself whenever I went outside to bathe in the cozy and clean swimming pool and pool area. I spent much time there reading and swimming. This comfy Holiday Inn is the best kept secret in Memphis

great looking hotel perfect location... checked in at 6pm on friday we were to check out on sunday. priority club members get a 2pm checkout. friday night was lovely saturday morning i requested new towels i was told that they were short staffed and it would be awhile i waited 3hours then went to get them myself i was given two bath towels and two hand towels ( they were out of face towels) i was told to check back later. sunday at 12.30 i received a call from the front desk asking me what time i would be checking out i told them 2 same as when i checked in and asked for towels again...at 1.15 the front desk called again to ask what time i would be checking out at 2 or before 2 ? my response was as soon as i get towels they disabled the key card..... NEVER STAY HERE.

I read the other reviews of this property and I was surprised at some of the negative comments left by some reviewers. I have no complaints at all about my stay here. I found the young man at the front desk to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable but I do recommend getting a room on the side of the hotel away from the highway to avoid the noise from traffic. The hotel s located on the southeast side of town so it's not close to any of the city's activities or tourist attractions. Overall a pleasant stay and I'd certainly be willing to stay there again.
