We booked this hotel because my husband was coming to Memphis for a moth of training. When we called the hotel direct, we spoke with Alyssa, and she was amazing and helpful she arranged a pickup from the airport at no cost for us. The hotel is super clean, the staff is very friendly, professional, and kind. The room was clean and in good shape, we had a one bedroom on the ground floor. We had but one complaint about housekeeping and it was addressed within 15 minutes with the head housekeeper. This hotel offers a full buffet breakfast 7 days a week, highlighted by Miss Betty, she brings sunshine to the room. Additional, Monday thru Thursday; there is a buffet dinner with on tap beer and wine included. We found the food to be good... Not great... But it was free and we enjoyed the company of the hotel employees. I highly recommend this hotel for a long stay. We have been very pleased and would stay again!

I spent several days here, on some business with my wife, and it could not have been better. We were treated like royalty and I loved every minute of it. When I noticed a couple of things amiss, corrections were made, properly and QUICKLY. They are to be highly commended on all aspects of their operation.

Stayed here for 3 nights, on arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner and told where our room was, the rooms are detached from the main building, more like a motel, when we got to the suite it smelt musty and horrible and the toilets didn't flush, we reported both, toilets was fixed the next day and we were offered air freshener for the smell, at first glance decor looks ok, but after wandering through the corridors several times you do notice it's out dated appearance and decor faults like coving coming away, dirty walls. Our suite was furthest away from the main building so a bit of a trek through corridors to get breakfast.
Breakfast was good and a lovely lady named Betty was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, really cheered my day up. Not what we expected from a Homewood Suite or the Hilton chain, very disappointing, we are travelling across USA and stayed in Hilton chain hotel and suites and this is the most disappointing by far, would not stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. It's quiet and well off the main road. There are so many places to eat and shop in that area. I was visiting family that lived about 25 minutes away and it wasn't a bad drive from the quiet of the country to the hustle of the little area of Hacks Cross. The hotel itself is very very nice. Clean, stocked fully, Nutragena toiletries. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable I've slept in while staying at a hotel. Seriously. The room is divided with the bedroom and bathroom divided by a door you can lock and the sitting area, eating area and full kitchen (with a full fridge, dishwasher, stove and sink). When I closed the front door, it was like I was in a little apartment. Really dug the place. And the front desk reps were SUPER friendly. I would definitely go straight back to Homewood Suites when I go back. By the way, as of July 2011, their rates were far superior for what you get to the other hotels in the area. And I got the chance to use my first ever senior discount to get that amazing rate!
