The WiFi internet is almost nonexistant. It takes forever to load any page you want to go to. My smartphone was much faster. Shame I needed to enter work which I could not enter from my smart phone. Took me 5 times as long as it should have because I had to wait and wait and wait and wait for the stupid page to work. do not recommend. will not stay here again. Oh yes and I killed a ROACH that was crawling up the wall

the staff were extremely helpful through out our stay. the room was clean and good value for money. breakfast was nice, waffles, cereal and coffee were available. unfortunately, the location of the motel was not ideal. in a taxi it was approximately 20 minutes away from beale street, and the local area was considered rough. the pool was also closed throughout our stay, and considering there was little to do in the local area this was disappointing. all in all a good motel but not the best location.

I would have given three stars as the room and bathroom were clean and big, couch, table, desk and TV, internet and coffee maker. Unfortunately, the sheets weren't clean enough, as shades of old stains were visible in different places and I didn't feel confortable. The location is probably convenient for those who are just passing and stopping by, pretty close to the airport but far from anything else. Located on a kind of highway there are no shops and restaurant on walking distance, so you'd need a car. There are two or three vending machines in the lobby, but water was sold out and hasn't been supplied during my two days stay. However the staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast very basic. I think most of the customers are passing travelers and lorry drivers. It was very cheap, but, as I didn't have a car, I spent what i saved in taxis. If just as me you don't have a car and you are interested in visiting Graceland and/or the city centre I would recommend to stay downtown (Beale street). Consider that if you intend to visit the SUN Studios (walking distance from Beale St.) you can get a free ride from there to Graceland and return (check the website http://www.sunstudio.com/).

Although not in the "best" part of town, motel looked OK from outside and I did not feel unsafe at anytime. Check in was fast and friendly. Just a reminder that this particular Super 8 does not take pets (I believe you can pay a $20 non-ref. deposit), so double check if you have a pet before checking in.
My room (1 king bed) was clean, big, and didn't smell or stink. I was right by the front desk/breakfast area but no problems with noise in the morning. The loudest thing were the train whistles nearby, but I'm used to that type of thing and it didn't bother me. TV was big and nice and I liked the couch/table in the room. Bathroom was a little warn, but everything worked and again,everything in it was clean!
Breakfast simple, typical,free breakfast- waffles, cereal, pastries, juice, coffee, etc. I did not look at or try out the pool in the back.
I would stay here again.
