If you're planning to go to Graceland ... or even a day trip to Memphis ... this is a cheap and convenient place to stay. My room was clean, and had a HUGE King-size bed that was very comfortable. I was leery after having read the other review on TripAdvisor, but I didn't arrive until 1:00 a.m. and didn't feel unsafe. A desk clerk was up waiting for me to check in, and it was a quick and painless process. Again, the room was great!
I agree the continental breakfast isn't much to brag about, but it's free. And while the manager was a bit abrupt, he was very nice in helping me print out my airplane check-in tickets (I was flying out that afternoon.) All in all, it was what I needed for my last night on a 2-week vacation.

First of all I feel a little guilty giving this dump a rating of 1/5 becuase, to be fair, it is cheap lodging.
But it's a dump - there's no getting away from it. The room was dingy and worn, and slightly grubby. The car park was also dimly lit and full of beat-up cars. the whole place had a less-than-safe vibe to it, although to be fair again we didn't witness any trouble during our one-night stay.
Skip the free continental breakfast - I'm not fussy and I'll always eat when it's for free... but this grubby, ill-equipped corner of the lobby was not the place to start the day.
On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly!!
