“great stay, excellent hotel - dont forget the roof!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2012 NEW

from arrivial to departure, the Peabody is old world charm and we are so glad we picked this hotel for our quick visit and wished we could have stayed longer

had room 528 by memory, lovely quite room with comfy bed. staff were excellent at every turn and we were enjoyed as much of Memphis as we could

Plus:
location, hotel, staff - win win win
onsite spa but book early

Cons:
those ducks - i will not understand why anyone would want to sit/stand around for an hour waiting for ducks to walk in/out. go out and enjoy memphis!

“Elegant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2012 NEW

Fantatsic........one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are fantastic - great size with extremely comfortable beds.

The March of the Peabody ducks is a must-see (i knew nothing about this before we arrived!!) - brilliant!!

Only about ten minutes walk from Beale Street, and maybe 20mins walk to Sun Studio as well so great location.

The French cuisine restaurant wasn't open on the sunday evening, so we ate out that night........shame as we'd like to have tried it.

“great place to stay in memphis!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 May 2012 NEW

i stayed here during "memphis in may/beale street music festival" and now i can't imagine having stayed anywhere else! the service was great- the hotel staff always said hello and asked how everything was. i really felt well taken care of! the ducks were cute! it's a very interesting place to stay, that's for sure! it's nice to just go downstairs and see the ducks, while other people go to this hotel specifically to see them. the drinks at the hotel lobby bar were good. so was the pecan pie. the location of the hotel is awesome. you can walk to all the cool places on beale street. yes, the hotel is older and the room was pretty small, but the beds were comfortable and the shower worked. can't complain. i was mistakenly charged for valet parking, but the problem was resolved. no biggie.

“Elegant, and beautiful, a must while in Memphis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2012 NEW

Beautiful. and so historical. Very clean, rooms a bit small, was the only drawback, as was the bathroom. service impeccable, and all employees very friendly.

“World Class Service, Old World Charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2012 NEW

My husband and I recently went to Memphis for a little get away over the Memorial Day weekend. We secured a room at the Peabody via Luxurylink.com. We got an amazing price for a 3 night stay, and without using the site, the hotel was showing that they had no rooms available. We stayed on the 11th floor in an Executive King room. The room was as large as most suites we stay in, however there was not a wall separating the living and bedroom. The room and the hotel were immaculate! Service was over the top, and I should also mention the hotel was almost at maximum capacity.
Several days prior to my arrival I contacted Scott Boucher, Manager of the Peabody Memphis. He has listed his phone number here on Trip Advisor, as he personally tries to respond to reviews. I left him a message and within 24 hours he personally called me back. He helped me secure the room of my choice, and also helped me organize a bottle of champagne to be delivered upon my arrival. Now folks this is SERVICE! I also received calls daily from the VIP Service Manger to ask if we needed anything to make our stay more enjoyable. These guys are literally asking you to make use of their service.
I had breakfast in the room on Friday morning while my husband attended to some business. It did take almost an hour to arrive, but my coffee and Eggs Benedict were piping hot and delicious.Remember the hotel was extremely full, and my food was hot.
Valet Parking was very busy, but it ran very smoothly. Everyone was polite and professional upon arrival. Each time we departed, we would call valet from our room and ask for the car to be brought around. By the time we walked outside, our car was always there. (NO WAITING).
The lobby bar is beautiful, and the bartenders fall right in step when it comes to the standards set for service at the Peabody. You can sit and sip a glass of cold champagne while you watch those famous Peabody Ducks swim and splash around the Lobby fountain.
This hotel has it all, and I will never stay at another hotel in Memphis other than the Peabody ever again! You really, really must go.

Room Tip: You can upgrade to the Concierge Floor on the 12th floor for only $50.00 a day. This price includes...
