My husband & stayed here for a getaway for one night. Upon arrival, the lights on the sign outside the building were not working all the way & all we could see was INN & Suites, so we passed it the first time. The young lady at the front desk was very nice & friendly & check in was fast & easy. Upon arrival to our room, we were checking things out. The gym was extrememly small with only 2 pieces of equipment. The pool was closed so we didn't see it. The carpet in the hall & our room was a little dirty looking & the room had a weird smell but was very clean. The tv was small & the pillows were even small, half the size of a normal pillow & they were so flat. The bed wasn't the most comfortable we had ever slept in, but we did sleep. The internet was fast. I kept waking up all hours of the night because of hearing people running & walking around on the floor above us. They were extremely loud. Checking out was easy & fast also & they were very nice & friendly. We didn't eat breakfast there, so I don't know how good it was. Overall, it was an good stay.

Read reviews on this site about this hotel & was reluctant on staying here. But everything was ok. I stayed here with 2 other couples during the 2010 Liberty Bowl (GO HOGS!). Staff was extremly friendly & went out of their way to help us. We had a Suite which was a 1 bathroom, living room w/flat screen tv, small bar with a stero system, couch, desk & coffee table. In the other room was a King bed & another Tv. Setup was like a studio really. Room was very nice though! Location isn't perfect if you are wanting to go downtown around Beale Street. But as a bonus, you are right off the interstate & it is probably quicker for cab drivers rather than driving down crowded streets. Mall is nearby. Most things are about 5-10 miles. Rooms were about $99. I would come back again.

We reserved 4 rooms over the Internet. When we arrived, the trash was running over in the front of the hotel lobby. One of the ladies in our group went to use the lobby restroom and could not use it because it was so dirty. This was our first impression. We then decided to check out our rooms. One of the rooms had something that appeared to look like chocolate milk stains all over the mattress and the bed looked as if a young child had made it. The man on duty did offer us another room and it was a great improvement. They need to do a lot of cleaning on the hallway carpets as there was an odor that was hard to overcome. It was also ripped in the middle and needed repaired. A good housekeeper could really improve this hotel. It was lacking that! The only good thing about this hotel was the young man working. He was very apologetic and did offer us a $15 refund on 1 of the rooms.

The halls and elevator smelled, the carpet was very old and dirty, the shower curtain had never been cleaned (or so it seemed), the sheets didn't fit the bed, the coffee pot in the room didn't work and broke while trying to brew, the coffee in the lobby was undrinkable and the rooms felt grubby. We only stay at Marriott hotels so this came as a surprise since we always like them.
