We stayed at the Hampton Inn Walnut Grove due to a family member being in the Baptist Hospital which is right next door to the hotel. Once we arrived the front desk we found the front desk to be very helpfull and went out of their way to make sure that we where happy. The arranged a shuttle for us to the hospital due to bad weather. Once we returned in the evening they even helped us arrange dinner in the lobby for our family members again this kept us out of the bad weather.

The rooms where clean and modern, housekeeping even worked around our sleeping schedule due to the fact we where taking turns staying at the hospital.

We will be back, next time under better circumstances.

We recently spent one night at this hotel and stayed in a King Deluxe room. Nothing deluxe about the room, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was large, with open shelves under the sink, and a coffee pot on the counter. The breakfast buffet was ok, except for some mushy fruit, with free newspapers and plenty of seating. It was in a convenient location for us.

I stayed here recently for work. I usually stay at Embassy Suites, but they were booked. I had an early meeting at Baptist East, so I chose this hotel, since it's right there on the hospital campus. Check-in was very efficient, I was able to go right to my room quickly. At first, the room seemed just fine. I turned the covers back, and the sheets and bedspread looked okay. However, I noticed a sticky ring on the dresser where the TV was located- the kind that's left from a glass of soda. When I went into the bathroom, I noticed crumbs by the sink- very obvious, maybe remnants of a muffin or coffee cake. I don't know how a housekeeper could have missed it. Then, I noticed the rest of the bathroom counter- it wasn't very clean, either. Very obvious that the bathroom counter had not been wiped at all, but the sink looked clean. Strange. The rest of the bathroom looked clean, and I decided just to stay and not ask for a different room.

I tried to change the air conditioning to low fan, so it would stay on all the time. I like the noise, but it kept shutting on and off all night, and it was very loud when it would come on and kept waking me up. I didn't get much sleep. The bed was comfortable, though.

Not sure if I'll stay here again with so much wrong with the room.

Just got back from a business trip and chose this hotel has a convenient location. I am not picky at all about a hotel as it is just a place for me to sleep. Please note that it appears people from the office do not answer the phones from the rooms as I tried calling several times about a wake up call with no answer. My alarm clock was malfunctioning and they did not have an automated phone wake up call. One star goes to the maintenance guy who helped me get an alarm clock the next day. He actually acted as though he cared.

Asked the front desk for regular coffee and the front desk did not have it delieverd to my room by next morning. Would have asked a maid for coffee in the hall as I often do but never saw one. Next day I asked again, this time a bit aggravated, and believe it or not, all the front desk person had to do was take a few steps and get it!

To top it all off, there was a guy that was stuck in the parking lot as his car would not start . I helped him push the car out of their lot as this guy told me that they were going to call the cops and have him towed. Not sure what the story on that was but the front desk people at this Hampton Inn was the laziest workers I have seen in a while.
