We used this bar on a Friday and Saturday night when staying in a campsite just up the road.

The food was above average. The bar gets very busy, so arrive early if you want to get a seat in the bar where the live bands play on Fri/sat evenings, there are a couple of other rooms if you want a more quiet atmosphere. We listened to two superb acts, one doing ‘Scottish’ covers and the other doing a mixture of covers and their own material, great friendly atmosphere. The bar has an excellent and reasonably priced selection of whisky and a big range of cask ale.

We stayed for 3 nights while doing a tour of Scotland and it was perfect. The food was great 3 nights out of 3 so it cannot be a coincidence. Breakfast was also good, my other half had "The Whole Hog" which includes black pudding and haggis - ideal to set you up for a days walking.
I had porridge, the menu said you could ask for whisky cream with this. When I asked, they had none and the chef made it up on the spot! You cannot ask for better service.

We spent a lot of time in the bar in between walks, and found the staff great. Fantastic selection of local cask ales, which were changed daily.

The accommodation is pretty much what you would expect from a pub, fairly basic but nice and clean. A nice touch is that they also have a drying room, great for wet coats and boots.

Glencoe is quite a small place, so don’t expect loads to do. The area has outstanding walking, and the Clachaig is an ideal base.

We definitely intend to return.

Had a great time after a very wet day on the road, must visit on a Saturday to make the most of the entertainment which was fantastic

Food was great but due to the bar being busy it took an hour to turn up.. Just made it for the start of the act in the back room.

Breakfast was great and will be back next year

Nice hotel,
staff can be poor if you can find one during the day,
bar is wet when it rains - through the ceiling onto the concrete floor.
Food middle of the road.
Great for a night out - live music, the customers make it, not the staff.

Friendly staff, large but dated bedroom, long waits for bar and food service.

My partners meal, chicken buirito had to be returned twice apeared microwaved and was cold even after going back twice.

Plenty of parking, fab views o two mountains with waterfalls towering over..

Reccomeneded just for the view
