We recently stayed at The George Metro after looking at a very flattering web site. A new style of Hotel.....what a joke
On arrival it was like looking at a different hotel, pictures were not a true reprsentation of what the hotel was really like.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were dirty, the bedding did not seem clean; we had a shower in the main bedroom (not the bathroom), which was not big enough for my husband to stand up right in.
In the lounge area there was a sink unit not plumbed in!
We were kept awake all night by noise from the neighbouring bar.
Needless to say we did not bother with breakfast and made a quick exit!!
Don't bother using this hotel.
