“Excellent Guest House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Just stayed at this guest house with my wife as I was up in Stranraer for a family wedding. Was greeted with a friendly welcome from Colin and shown to a very clean and lovely decorated double room. Everything was in it that you would hope for. En suite was a good size and once again immaculate. The following morning Rhona made us what can only be described as a full hearty scottish breakfast which was excellent. Thank you both for a great stay. Anyone in Stranraer visiting just book this great guest house. SteveB

“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

We stayed overnight on way to Ireland...very clean and comfortable. Hosts friendly and helpful. Toast supplied in evening for diabetic child which was very much appreciated! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a good variety of choice. A great find and we will very surely be back again in the future.

Room Tip: Lovely view over Loch Ryan from room at front.

“1st class B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

We stayed on a friday and saturday night, The welcome was friendly and the room was in excellent condition at the top of the house.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious also cleaned to a high standard , it also has a lovely view of Loch Ryan.
Breakfast was really good with eggs straight from the chickens in the garden also with home made jams and marmalade's available.
Colin and Rhona Brown are a very nice and friendly couple with a great attitude to guest house management and i wouldn't hesitate in staying with them again.
I would recommend the Harbour lights to anyone.

“Fantastic value”

Stayed here one night before getting the ferry. Fantastic value for money. Good quality comfortable and quiet room with lots of extras, excellent breakfast, free wifi (up until 10pm after which it's chargeable), free parking outside or across the road in the public car park, and the hosts are very pleasant and helpful, I've stayed in many larger hotels for a lot more money and not had such good quality and service.
