“Fabulous Cottage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 April 2007

I booked the Potters Rest online as the cottage I had hoped to stay in was booked out for the dates I wanted. I am so pleased I stayed there and will be returning in May this year.
The cottage is well located 5 minutes walk for the restaurants, bars shops and harbour. The cottage is spacious with 4 bedrooms and well decorated. It also has a lovely garden which has lovely views of Portpatrick and over the Irish Sea.
The owners of the cottage are friendly and informative and a please to deal with.
I recommend eating at the Mount Stewart and the Crown. And if you're visiting in the summer make sure you have a round of golf at the local putting Green.

“The Potters Rest, Colonel St, Portpatrick”

We booked a weekend at The Potters Rest in Portpatrick and were slightly unsure what to expect. On our arrival we were very pleasantly suprised. The cottage has been finished to a very high standard but still has kept all of its charm.
The village has a number of beautiful pubs and very good restaurants and a weekend was not enough to fully explore the area.
I would have no hesitation in returning to this delightful cottage and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
