A wonderful place for a retreat. We had a sizeable party and all felt well looked after and at home. Wonderfully welcoming hosts, stunning backdrop and an amazing location. We will definitely be looking to come back!

Allison and Bill truly welcome visitors to their guest house - it is just like staying with family. The magnificent breakfasts are taken in the dining room with stunning views of the stream and sheep in the meadow - even watched salmon jumping from the doorstep! We stayed for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We hope we will be able to return one day for a longer visit.

having travelled all night from canada, meeting up with famiy from the isle of wight and moreton- on marsh our first stop was at ONE GREEN HOPE.we only had the one night wish it had been longer.But we had a lot more to see and do BILL and ALLISON were great hosts and made us so welcome .Great Scottish breakfast perfect begining to a great holiday hope to come back one day

We stayed for an all to brief two nights in this wonderful guest house. The location is stunning and the welcome received from Bill and Alison immediately drew us in to a place of friendship and warmth. Accommodation was very comfortable with lovely "touches" adding to our enjoyment. The breakfast each day was excellent - beautifully cooked and tasty, and everything you could ask for, including perfectly scrambled eggs!! This is truly a place where you can restore your soul and we'll be back!
