Me and my partner stayed here whilst attending a wedding in the lodge of loch lomond. Found carol and her husband very accommodating, even drove us to the wedding and picked us back up after it was finished. A very nice, clean b&b, good breakfast, I would stay at Darroch House again, no hesitations.

We stayed at this B&B for 1 night on our way to Mull, and it was the perfect stop-over. We had a warm welcome, a comfortable bed and a great breakfast to send us off the next morning, all for £50 inc, which was a real bargain. Luss is a quaint little village, which in the daytime is full of tourists, but if you are staying, it is quiet in the evening, with lovely walks and Loch Lomond all to yourself. We'd go ack to Darroch House if we are up that way again.

We stayed here overnight along with our 21 year old son after a brilliant wedding at Loch on the Lodge. The hotel wanted £200 per room and would only allow access after 2pm which meant booking 2 nights to be in a position to get ready for an early afternoon wedding. Carol at Darroch House offered us early access to our rooms and provided a delivery and collection service to/from the church/hotel right up until 1:00 am when the reception emptied out. The rooms were really comfortable (but not plush) and the breakfast was simple but well cooked.
We were given our choice of the 3 rooms and it is worth pointing out that there was a triple (3 x single) room and that the the other two double rooms are pretty much identical except for the outlook. One is at the front with great views but some distant road noise while the other is at the back and has neither.
I was delighted that we found this B&B and would recommend it to anyone looking for good value accommodation that gets all of the basics spot on.

Stayed at Darroch House recently when going to a wedding at Lodge On The Loch and wehen we arrived it was pouring but the owner came to my rescue with a huge umbrella to save my hair and then gave us a lift down to the wedding and picked us up from the wedding after 1am! It was brill as we were a bit worried about how we were going to get back as forgot to take a torch! Breakfast was great, really appreciated the effort of getting a cooked veggie breakfast to help cure the hangover after the celebratory drinking the night before! Would definitely go back and recommend it!
