“Could do with a goog clean!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2010

We stayed at this hotel for one night during September 2010.

Killin is an amazing town, sadly this B&B is not.

The B&B is in a pretty good location in the town and the owners are friendly and helpful.

Our twin room was a decent size but the toilet was very cramped and did not seem to have been cleaned for weeks. The bed was quite comfortable but could haven been much better.

The breakfat was quite good but was only sereved between 0815 and 0915 and we had to check out by 1000.

“Bright spot in Killin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2010

We had just one night but a comfortable stay at Craigbuie on a cycling holiday. The rooms were lovely. The hotel is located right on the main street through town. It was not too noisy for us and easy to find. We appreciated the variations available for breakfast and the food was good.

“Excape from the rat race”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2010

This was our second visit to Craigbuie and on both occasions we had the most fantastic time. We had travel problems this year and did not arrive at the guest house until 10.30 p.m. but Vic and Sue gave us a fantastic welcome. The room was excellent with a lovely view. Everything was provided that you could possibly need. Breakfast was excellent, served by Vic and cooked by Sue. They were always happy to chat to us. One of our party was ill this year and Vic and Sue sorted out a doctor for him and even took him to the surgery. I would recommend that you visit this guest house. You won't be disappointed.

“Great location, great hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2009

We stayed here for two nights during a driving holiday of Scotland. The owners were friendly and helpful and have done a lot of work in providing information for their guests e.g. local eatery guides and menus, upcoming weather forecasts, local history etc. The pearl barley kedgeree is highly recommended. Killin itself is a very pretty village, (shut your eyes on the way past the ugly primary school in the middle of town) with several lovely walks of varying difficulty. Highly recommended!

“the most amazing hospitality ever. nothing was too much trouble.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2009

We were in Killin to get married.
Relatives flew in from all over the world and Vic & Sue were outstanding, even entertaining late night visitors with jet lag!
I have stayed an many 5 star hotels in my travels...but nothing can equal this particular hotel.
If you ask anything of these 2, have no fear..it will be done.
My son and brother- in- law were in 2 other hotels in Killin and wished they had a similar hotel atmosphere and hospitality to the Craigbuie.
I also know that other guests presnt at the time we were there were delighted.
