My OH and I, spent a lovely overnight at the Kings House,on Friday night (20th August).
We have visited the KIngs House on numerous occasions for a drink, and/or meal. This was our first stay, however.
Our room( no 6, and in brochure), over looked the gift shop. Maybe not the best of views. The room, however was very comfortable, and well appointed, with ensuite.
As this is an old building, do be prepared to hear a few creaks and groans( from the building). I felt that this added to the ambience, of a building, with history.
OH and I enjoyed a lovely meal, which we chose to have served in the bar, Oh had haggis, neeps and tatties. I had the panfried loin of venison. Both meals were to die for. We look forward to another visit soon.
