“cozy and relaxing b&b at Loch Lomond”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

This was a wonderful place to stay as we explored the loch lomond area by bike and on foot. The hosts were incredibly generous and warm. Nan surprised us with sandwiches to bring on our walk, and they also had an excellent selection of DVDs for a quiet night in.

It's just a 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bike) to the town centre restaurants, and even closer to Balloch castle.

“Reasonably comfortable, for the cost.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

Owner was friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small and cramped for two people with reasonably large suite case each. Quite a walk to eat so we chose to drive. Probably be alright on a nice sunny day however this is Scotland.

“Superb b&b in ideal location for touring Loch Lomond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

We had 4 nights at this b&b whilst we explored the Loch and surrounding area. We could not fault it in any way - Nan looked after us, cooked wonderful breakfasts, and gave us advice about trips we could make. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom had everything we needed. Situated on the edge of town, but with an easy walk to local shops pubs and restaurants. Opposite the house are fields with cows grazing, and there is an attractive walk to the Loch itself.

“Beautiful and comfortable rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2010

We stayed there for 1 night. Nan was great and served us a wonderful breakfast. There were 3 of us and although we had asked for a triple room, they gave us 2 rooms at no extra charge. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms with ensuites were beautifully furnished. It was located in a quiet area but near to restaurants. Nan recommended us a nice restaurant for our dinner. A place, I would definitely recommend highly for staying.

“Warm welcome and great hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 May 2010

Nan is simply amazing! Very friendly and very welcoming. The room was a delight. It was very clean and tidy. The views over the hills were very nice and the location was a walking distance away from Balloch Castle and Boturich castle. Loch Lomond is literally a stone throw away.
In addition, for those night owls like me who need some entertainment in the late evenings, lots of DVDs were available to borrow from the B&B hosts. Tuck in with a mug of nice hot chocolate or tea! This B&B comes highly recommended.
