We stayed here for two nights in January on an amazingy cheap deal of £30pn B&B, We had Room 3, up one flight of stairs at the front with a fabulous view right across the Loch. The room had a four poster bed and lovely deep bath en suite and an old fashioned, romantic look.
Breakfast was tasty and varied: full Scottish, porridge or kippers. The staff were very helpful and cheery, and the roaring log fires in the bar and snug made the place extremely warm & welcoming on a winter evening. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, the menu was extensive and varied and what we had was lovely. They specialise in ales as well and you can get a 'pony' sampler of three different ales if you can't make up your mind.
The only down side was that the bedrom doors seemed pretty thin and we could hear some noise from other guests as they entered or left their rooms. Music from the bar downstairs carried up as well even though it wasn't particuarly loud, but it stopped at midnight so no great hardship.
We had a lovely relaxing romantic weekend away and would definitely go back again.
