We arrived at Sunnyside thinking we had a reservation only to find out I had not confirmed on line and we had no reservation. Frank and Loraine went out of their way to accomodate us, they offered us tea and biscuits while we tryed to figure out what went wrong. They were so nice, they had one room left and let us have that one and called to find a place for our friends to stay. The room we stayed in was very clean and nice. The breakfast the next morning was excellent, we appreciate thier professionalism and hospitality. Thank you Frank and Loraine

Arrived a little early, well it was 1.30pm had two rooms booked, only one ready could leave bags etc.
Asked details for breakfast all done standing in the corridor.
Returned a few hours later room ready, a twin with shower and toilet. The latter no bigger than a small cupboard and with grotty mastic all around shower.
Beds reasonably comfortable, but decor strictly outdated.
Breakfast of reasonable quality, but not served with any real style or enthusiasm.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Sunnyside - Frank and Lorraine were lovely, warm hosts. Very clean comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Frank and Lorraine also 'dog-sat' for our little terrier so we could go out for a couple of evenings which we were very grateful for and thought it was very kind of them. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay and plan to visit again when we head up to Scotland again. Would definitely recommend this B&B - excellent service, lovely hosts and very reasonably priced.

Good B&B with very attentive service. Friendly conversation with the hosts. Very good breakfast. Well located for visiting Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, but the surrounding area is not really nice.
