“Home from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We stayed 2 nights whilst doing the Kintyre Way. We were put in the self-catering accommodation as someone in the B&B wanted to stay and extra night, so had a whole appartment to ourselves - wonderful. But the B&B looked amazing too, with a lovely big lounge for guests and meals in the convervatory. All meals were amazing - I believe the owner is a trained chef - and many of the items served were grown in the garden. THe packed lunches provided were also great (and so large that the 2 lunches I bought kept me going for 4 days). Most of the other guests returned here every year - and you could see why.

We were fortunate to stay at Dunultach in August. We were made so welcome the hospitaltiy being second to none with Elizabeth's supberb breakfasts and dinners and John's frequent offer of 'wee dram'. Our room was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable, the whole experience is enhanced by the beautiful location with wonderful views, On the day we decided to take to somewhat early morning ferry to Islay Elizabeth was there to prepare our very early breakfast and see us on our way.We hope to visit again and have no hesitation to recommend Dunultach and its 5 star welcome to anyone

“What a gem!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

We stayed at this wonderful B and B on the 6th September having pre booked the room and dinner. Elizabeth gave us a really warm welcome, helped us with our bags.and showed us to our large, comfortable ensuite room which had everything that you would find in a 4 star hotel room and more! We immediately felt at home in her lovely house. Dinner was a superb two course meal in the large conservatory overlooking beautiful farm land and breakfast was absolutely wonderful too which set us up for the next day's adventures! There is a large comfortable residents' lounge and Elizabeth made us most welcome. She told us a little of the fascinating history of the house and her knowledge of the surrounding area was really good . We only stayed one night as we we touring Scotland but would have loved to have lingered longer at this gem of a B and B .We can thoroughly recommend it. We have stayed in four star hotels which have been nowhere as good as this wonderful B and B. We shall return!

“Absolutely the best B&B so far in our UK trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

Our stay in this pretty, HUGE pink house (very easy to find!) was an utter delight from start to finish. We had pre-booked dinner after a very long day driving, and our hostess Elizabeth had prepared the most delicious 2 course meal that would give many restaurants a run for their money! Beautifully comfortable, large bed; delicious breakfast to follow and in the most scenic location - so quiet, green & peaceful, with sheep in a field just over the back fence. If it were possible to give this B&B a higher rating than "Excellent", we would!
