“Disappointed”

This review is not as positive as the others. The location is excellent, but did not find the atmosphere as positive as conveyed by the web pages and other reviews.

We stayed two nights, but had to cancel the third night due to an injury.
The owners were very formal about the cancellation and caught up with extracting the full payment for the cancelled night, rather than really expressing any sympathy.

Also, two minor points: the web was not working for the visitors and reprimanded for leaving the door on the latch when loading and unloading the car. This might seem petty, but not the more positive atmosphere we were expecting.

Overall, left feeling disappointed and would look elsewhere next time round.

“lovely place”

We stayed recently at this B&B we felt very comfortable and we had a lovely room and bathroom very clean and fresh. The breakfast was lovely too especially the Porridge!Thank you for a lovely stay.

“Very nice place, friendly hosts”

David and Angela are very friendly and know the area well. Lots of nice guidebooks to browse through in the dining room. In addition they were very generous with sharing their knowledge of the area.
Rooms clean and comfortable.
Breakfast and evening meal excellent.
Good atmosphere in the dining room every morning with everyone sharing their stories from the day before.
Why previous reviewers felt the need to post photos of renovation work going on at the back of the house is beyond me.

“Good for one night”

We found this BB to be comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was also very nice. The room was a bit small but for our one night stay it was comfortable.

“Fairly Good B&B”

This B&B offers a warm and friendly place to stay. The keepers are more then willing to share information on what to do in and around town, breakfast is good, rooms are clean and quiet. Very handy is the drying room ;-)
