We stayed at the Premier Inn as a friend was getting married at The Vu. The staff were very helpful and ordered us a taxi to the venue.

However due to it's proximity to such a popular wedding venue do expect there to be large wedding parties staying there. Unfortunately in our case the other guests were very very noisy, we got in just after midnight and I was not able to get to sleep until after 3am due to lots of shouting and people running about.
Clearly it's not Premier Inn's fault and it will vary depending on the calibre and decency of the guests staying, judging by their behaviour at breakfast we were just unlucky.

Great location, good price and great views and if you've got a wedding at The Vu it's only 10 minutes away which is ideal.

We have stayed at many Premier Inns over the years but Bathgate takes first prize for the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They made our stay a very happy experience. The Toby Carvery was very good too fair priced food and drinks, friendly staff. There must be something in the air at Bathgate as everywhere we went the people were very friendly.

Excellent stay.Easy access to buses to Livingston. A bit longer bus journey to Edinburgh.
Very comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast and Toby Cavery excellent next door for other meals

Lovely clean, warm room. First class breakfast. All staff very friendly and exceptionally helpful.
