I recently spent one night in this hotel. Da Vinci's is a basic hotel, with a basic price. I received a warm friendly greeting at reception and was given the key to my room. The room was clean and functional. Soundproofing is definitely not a feature of this hotel. You can hear pretty much everything that your fellow guests are doing. I was woken around 5am by the sound of running water, doors closing and conversation (I guess by night staff) in the corridor. This point alone is enough to dissuade me from every staying there again. This is a pity as the staff are friendly and helpful – they are clearly trying their best, but sadly it is the hotel that lets the side down.
