What a wonderful way to spend a few days on this wonderful island. Kinloch Lodge is amazing the way your hosts blend amazing hospitality and quality with a wonderful earthy home welcoming environment is truly unique. The fantastic food (aagh the food simply the best) the attention to detail is magnificent. Do try the Whisky and Wine flights very enjoyable and a lot of fun. Special mention for Rachel who was amazing throughout our stay.

“Wonderful place to stay on the Isle of Skye”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in July 2011. The welcome was warm, the setting absolutely stunning, and the room was clean and cosy. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant varied greatly between different nights owing to different types of people - one night it was a bit quiet and almost stifling, but that is to do with the nature of the guests at the time I suppose! The service in the restaurant was great, all the staff were very friendly.
After dinner cocktails were great with some very novel creations - served in a very homely drawing room.
Breakfasts were equally as delicious. The warm scones a particular favourite!
All in all, a great stay in a lovely place. I would highly recommend it both to stay and to dine in.

Can't recommend Kinloch Lodge highly enough. Particularly the (well deserved) Michelin Star restaurant. The food, wine and service were all absolutely superb.

“Just gets better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

New Year was our sixth trip to Kinloch and we've already booked our next visit. Kinloch gets better and better every time. Skye by itself is a reason to return, but being able to stay at Kinloch, with its amazing food (definitely deserves the Michelin star), the incredible wine and whiskey lists, lovely comfortable rooms, and great staff is the icing on the cake. Tom and Isabella are lovely and attentive hosts, always making us feel like long-lost friends when we come in the door, and the staff are really wonderful. This time we stayed in the new building and had a beautiful, comfortable room with stunning views. I also booked a massage, taking advantage of their new spa services - and thought it was terrific. We are always sad to leave and count the days until we're back at Sleat.

“Perfect retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

The food was exceptIonal, probably too good. The service on the whole was faultless from the staff. The owners provided a real warmth and welcome that is rare. The rooms were lovely and what they lacked was made up for by the service and food. It's a long trip to get there so two nights wasn't enough.
