Ruth and Mila were great hosts. Our room was clean with a spectacular view. The Coolin View was the perfect location to explore Skye.

I stayed here with a friend of mine as we were travelling around Scotland on a photography assignment and I have to say of all the b&b's we stayed in this was by far the best. Ruth totally took care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. If you are going to be staying in Portree then his is by far the best place to do it.

We turned up quite late but Ruth welcomed us so well. Then gave us good local advice for dinner. We were in Skye taking pictures and explained that breakfast times didn't work for us as we were up early for sunrise. Ruth offered to come in specially later on (after we got back) in order to make sure we had breakfast. Above and beyond! Most welcome I have ever felt in a guesthouse and I'd thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here for couple of days with family. Very friendly owners.

Our room was clean and very homely. The view over the harbour was to die for.Our room was spotless. Couldn't fault it at all.

The breakfasts were well cooked and everything you would expect to get at a wonderful B&B.

Only drawback was that our stay was so short. We will certainly be coming back.
