Lovely place just over the skye bridge, host James is very friendly and offers good advice on walks and restaurants etc. Breakfast was lovely.

The obvious things are that the rooms are a good size, super clean and the fabulous breakfast options. The little extras are the nice toiletries in the en suite and Lurpak instead of generic butter. The location is good and unbelievably quiet. At a half hour's walk, Kyle of Lochalsh has lots of cafes, bars and some shops including a Co-op. Much closer is Kyleakin with a few bars. It would be difficult to do Skye without a car so lots of places are within easy reach. On reflection, a sheet or lighter quilt would have been useful as the weather was glorious when we were there, but that's not really a problem. Salento is the perfect place to stay in Skye and the views are lovely, even from the ground floor.

Perfect location at the gateway to Skye,beautiful views at Loch Lochalsh and Castle Moil.Clean,peaceful place with very nice,friendly and helpful people running it. Worth recommending to families,groups of friends or couples.Brilliant!!!

Excellent BnB all the way! Modern, roomy bedroom with en-suite bathroom. No frustrations with internet and wif-fi connection. James is a fantastic host! Breakfast is just the right amount and cooked to perfection. Location may be a bit far from other parts of Isle of Skye but it really depends on where you plan to visit. Regardless, you'll have to drive (or take the bus or hire a private coach/car) anywhere you want to go in Isle of Skye. Salento is located just right after the Skye Bridge, close to Eilean Donan Castle. Definitely a highly recommended Bnb!
